The Functional Medicine Coaching Academy’s (FMCA) Coaching Advancement Initiative is a professional coaching development program that is a key component of the Institute for Functional Medicine’s (IFM), Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice course. The initiative fosters excellence in education allowing the medical provider community to experience the effectiveness of coaching and deepens the knowledge of coaching skills and Functional Medicine concepts for Functional Medicine Certified Health Coaches. As leaders in the health coaching and Functional Medicine fields, FMCA and IFM are producing research for the advancement of both industries through this initiative.
